María del Mar Rivera Rolón, MD

Dr. Rivera Rolón is a diplomate of the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and Cytopathology. She earned her medical degree with honors from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra. Dr. Rivera Rolón completed her anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch, where she was also named chief resident. She did a hematopathology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital followed by a cytopathology fellowship at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Rivera Rolón has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and mentored many medical and pathology students. She currently serves as the Director of Cytopathology for CorePlus Servicios Clínicos y Patológicos.
